Amani is a registered counsellor (ACA) with a specific focus on helping her clients develop awareness of their inner life, manage difficult emotions, behaviours and transform their relationships with themselves and others.

Safe and non-judgemental

Clients are supported to explore their concerns in a manner and at a pace that feels right for them. Her practice is a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to be themselves so they can discuss current difficulties, develop helpful strategies, increase self-awareness and learn helpful coping skills.

 

Evidence-based Therapeutic and Creative practices

Utilising a combination of evidence-based therapeutic and creative practices, ranging from Emotion-Focused Counselling, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, compassion and mindfulness-based practices amongst others, Amani is well positioned and passionate about working with clients to begin their journey of personal growth and understanding. Amani holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University as well as an undergraduate degree from the University of Sydney (Major in Psychology).
